Bio: 
Kimberly Valle (she/her/ella) is a Ph.D. Candidate in Public Health at UC Merced. Kimberly earned her B.A. in Public Health in 2019 and M.S. in Public Health in 2021 from UC Merced. Kimberly is working as a graduate student researcher with the San Joaquin Valley Household Environmental Research and Exposure (SPHERE) Study and the San Joaquin Valley Center for Air Assessment and Injustice Reduction (SJV-CAIR). Her research interests include environmental exposures and pediatric respiratory health. Kimberly’s dissertation investigates different exposures such as air pollution and pesticides and their impact on the respiratory health of children residing in communities experiencing social and economic disadvantages in the San Joaquin Valley, California.
