UC Merced Public Health students and faculty continue to contribute to global health education, research, and community engagement through their involvement with the UC Global Health Institute (UCGHI).
Public Health Students Selected as UCGHI Student Ambassadors
Three UC Merced Public Health students, Blossom Miakiakwua Abudu, Elizabeth Amankwah, and Felix Opoku, were selected as UCGHI Student Ambassadors.
The UCGHI Student Ambassador Program provides students across the University of California with opportunities for leadership development, professional growth, and engagement with global health topics. Student Ambassadors connect with students, faculty, and global health leaders across the UC system while gaining experience in areas including planetary health, health equity, gender and health justice, and the health workforce.
