Martha Morales Hernandez is a postdoctoral researcher in the department of Public Health at UC Merced. Her research deploys mixed methods to examine how immigration laws and policies shape the mental health and educational experiences of undocumented immigrants. She is a collaborator on the Policies Influencing Rural Latino Health (PIRLH) and Mass Deportation (MDS) study, both led by Dr. Maria-Elena Young. She earned her PhD in Sociology from UC Irvine.
