Yeng is a doctoral student in the Department of Public Health. She earned a Master of Arts in Psychology, where she examined the relationship between ostracism and aggression, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Criminology, focusing on the social perspectives of mental health treatment programs for incarcerated individuals. Her research interests focus on policies, determinants, and interventions that influence substance use and mental health treatment access among justice-involved populations, with the goal of reducing recidivism and improving behavioral health outcomes.
