Public Health PhD student Andrea Lopez, presented her work at the Migrant Mother’s Symposium on Saturday, November 18th in Fresno, which was hosted by the Fresno County Superintendent of Schools and Migration Education.
The Migrant Mother’s Symposium is a one-day conference focused on engaging Migrant Mothers and providing educational workshops. Andrea presented her qualitative research examining immigration policy and its impacts on the health of children. She also administered surveys to the mothers.
