Originally from the California Bay Area, Alex Dominguez (picture on the left) is a senior majoring in both Public Health and Human Biology, and is keenly interested in health prevention and communication. She hopes this internship will enhance her outreach skills.
An aspiring physician assistant, Alex currently volunteers in the emergency room at Mercy Hospital, and has served as the fundraising president of the campus Operation Smile Club, where she has helped raise funds for three cleft lip surgeries. Alex also enjoys spending time with friends and family and going on outdoor adventures, like running, hiking, and skydiving!

Student Interns Efforts
In their role as Public Health Student Interns, Alex and Natali will support outreach and marketing efforts by cataloging Central Valley educational institutions that offer health-related programs. They will also help create social media content for the Department, curate the Department's website, and organize events like National Public Health Week and Bobcat Day.
