About

Public Health Society (PHS) is a team of UC Merced undergraduate students who collaborate to expand their understanding of the diverse opportunities within the field of Public Health. Together, we strive to create and access opportunities for learning while exploring the various dimensions and impacts of Public Health on communities. Guided by our three pillars - Prevent, Promote, Protect - PHS members actively participate in engaging with both local and international communities to share knowledge and apply what we learn. National Public Health Week (NPHW)

NPHW 2025: Monday, April 7 - Sunday, April 13

As UC Merced's official pubic health undergraduate student organization, Public Health Society (PHS) partners with local organizations and departments every year to celebrate National Public Health Week (NPHW), a week-long event hosted throughout the United States to highlight the field of public health. During this week, we host speaker presentations, tabling activities, community service opportunities, virtual infographics, a research symposium, and more geared towards student exploration of the field of public health.
