Valerie Martinez is an epidemiologist in training, investigating the intricate relationship between environmental factors and perinatal and reproductive health. She holds an undergraduate degree from the UC Merced, where she continued her education at UC Merced to earn a Master in Science in Public Health. For her master's thesis, Valerie examined the association between environmental chemicals and infertility. Valerie will continue her doctoral research at UC Merced, studying how environmental exposures affect fetal growth outcomes.
