Kristynn Sullivan

Phd Program: Psychology
Email: ksullivan7@ucmerced.edu

Kristynn grew up in the DC metro area, and got her BS with honors in Psychology at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA in 2009. She started graduate school at UCM the summer after her graduation from undergrad.

Research Summary

Her research interests include modeling nonlinearity in longitudinal data. Specifically, she applies Generalized Additive Models - a regression technique that allows the level of nonlinearity to be estimated directly from the data - to short time series datasets. She also dabbles in meta-analysis, Bayesian modeling, and statistical consulting projects, including analysis of large hospital datasets to assess rate changes in procedures and procedure-related deaths over time and across various subgroups.
